Great stay overall. The location was convenient, about a 25-minute walk to the Sassi di Matera, which made it easy to get around without driving. Having ample parking on-site was a big plus. We were able to leave the car for the whole trip and walk everywhere. The pool was very relaxing, and breakfast offered a nice variety of options each morning.

Lovely hotel, great location 15 -20 minutes walk into the old town. Staff exceptional, wherever you are. We were advised of a Saturday wedding which resticts some of the lovely facilities. We worked around this and had a wonderful stay, including a delicious ecening meal in the restaurant. Pool wasnt busy (Sept) and the beds were very comfortable. 5 🌟

A hidden Gem~

A lovely property on the outskirts of the old town ( which is about a 15 minute walk). The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful - thank you Valentina!! The rooms are very clean, spacious with a comfortable king size bed and nice linens. The pool is fantastic in such a pretty setting!!! A perfect way to cool off and relax after a day of touring in Matera. Breakfast has a great variety and the pool side bar has a good selection of snacks/sandwhiches. The dining room served a beautiful dinner and presentation was 10/10. Highly recommend this property :)

Perfect place especially if you are driving

We absolutely loved our time in this hotel. The staff were brilliant, the service was fantastic, our room was spacious and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfasts offered great choices each day and we dined in on our last night and were delighted with the menu and the wine list. Will certainly stay here again if we revisit the wonderful city of Matera.

Nice hotel in outskirts of town with 1.5 - 2 km walk into city center. Good breakfast. A few nice bars and restaurants nearby. Some noise from road and train. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms.

Great place. Would definitely stay there again

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious, clean, free non alcoholic drinks in the minibar, staff so helpful, nice spa area. A bit of a walk to the old town, but it was fine, and you can jump on a city bus for a euro or so to take you round the sights. My husband loved the breakfast. The fruit were lovely and ripe, and the pastries very short and crisp. Nice coffee, staff couldn’t do enough to help. Very convenient parking.

This hotel is a wonderful oasis in the middle of Matera. Beautiful views of the countryside. Amazing staff from Reception to the Bar Staff. Katherine (sorry about the spelling) but she was on breakfast and the bar as well was simply amazing. We ordered 2 drinks one night and a Sommelier wheeled out a trolley with 2 glasses a bottle of red and a bottle of Prosecco. He gave us a taste of each and pour our glasses. We only ordered 2 glasses but it was an experience. Parking so easy on the premises and secure. The only thing is that the restaurant is amazing but if you are looking for something light there isn’t anything and not a lot in the area. Sassi is about a 20 min easy walk. We would go back to this hotel.

Lovely hotel with large room and bathroom. Staff were amazing! They arranged a cake and bottle of wine for my birthday and booked a dinner reservation in the old town. Hotel would have been perfect except pool wasn’t ready to use during our 4 night stay. Will be ready in a few days by the looks. Saturday night there was an 18th birthday celebration at the hotel which was so loud until 1am!! Terrible noise even with ear plugs in.

I had high hopes as this place had stellar ratings and they were fulfilled. Also perfect if you don’t like driving in small Italian lanes as the hotel is just at the entrance of matera. Highly recommended

Wonderful hotel in this trip. Five stars hotel with three star rate. Free on-site parking with lots of spaces. Close to railway decrease rating to the hotel. If you are a easy sleeping man, do not worry about this.
