"If you are traveling to Avignon check out this hotel. It is located at an ideal location within the central part of the city and is close to many restaurants and shops. We were greeted warmly by the staff. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready but we were able to check our luggage and begin enjoying the town. "The reception staff was super friendly and helpful. However a few issues. I got room 410. Took elevator to 4th floor. Turns out some of the 4xx trims are ar a 5th floor and you got to haul your suitcase up a narrow staircase. The cups in the room are chipped, and no handle so when you make tea, the cups are too hot to hold. The airco is insufficient, it made the room only drop a few degrees. And I chase a bunch of mosquitoes that were in the room when I got there. In the morning I had 2...

"We loved our stay! The room was beautifully decorated, the bed a real king sized bed, the renovation thoughtful both in use of space and with beautiful old details left to shine. A plant filled courtyard and intimate breakfast room and lounge. Real glasses for enjoying the cold rosé. A beautiful stay. Add to that a bustling residential neighborhood just outside the tourist center, in the oldest building in Avignon and extremely welcoming hosts! Highly recommended"

"Great location, friendly staff, clean room"

"Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"Tiny room, hugely inconvenient location. No taxi or Uber can get in. You have to walk at least ten minutes to catch a ride. Asked the front staff to order a taxi for me for my train trip. The taxi couldn't come on time and we ended missing our train and with that our first class ticket to Paris were completely wasted."

"The garden is truly beautiful! Also, the property is in an excellent location from which to explore the city. The Hotel Proprietors were very lovely. After our train was delayed five hours, and we arrived just before midnight, they had still stayed up to let us in and help us to our room. Very kind!"
