"To start with, no check in information was sent to me before I arrived. When I arrived I couldn't get hold of the owner as he wasn't answering his phone and didn't have the curtesy to reply to the several messages I left, both in the form of answer phone and text.
I had to contact Hotels.com via the online chat. Eventually one of the owners employees phoned me and said he would come and let me in.
Once in the property, things didn't really improve. The maintenance of the place is shocking and...

"No frills but good location. I just needed a bed and shower during a trip to see a concert at the nearby De Montfort Hall. It's a great location for that, less than 5mins walk, also near plenty of bars, restaurants and shops.
It's cheap so I didn't expect much. The room and toilet/shower was basic but clean. There were no curtains, just blinds...so in the summer and with a heat wave it was quite unbearable. There's an electronic lock on the room doors but not on the main outside door so anyone...
