"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed a late afternoon walk on the country lanes of Middle Wallop. I want to mention a few things that did not bother us but may matter to other potential guests:

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Vine. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us as we came in quite late. They helped us with parking and we found our room well stocked with everything you could possibly need on vacation! They even brought our breakfast at our room so we could, continue on our travels quickly. Our room was quite large and very comfortable! "

"Our first impression with the staff was unexpected! We’d just arrived to drop off our luggage and the gentleman at the front desk offered to take our luggage to the room as we were crunched for time. A cab was waiting to take us to Highclere. Our room was cozy, clean and exceptionally stocked with clean towels, tea kettle, delicious coffee and tea. Dinner was great, with plenty of beer and wine options.
