"We stayed 2 nights. The location is great. Very easy walk to shops, cafes, restaurants etc Room was clean & tidy, bed was comfortable. The room had a terrific view of the Bhosporus & also had an outdoor terrace that we didn’t get to enjoy due to unkind weather."

"I had a great experience at Turna Hotel. It has all the amenities, very close to the Blue Mosque. Ali at the reception was great host when he checked me in he walked me to the Room and explained every thing. Next day I had early flight he arranged the taxi for me and when I came down he was there with Taxi outside. "First of all the staff is really kind and helpful, that has to be said as a first. They are very hospitable for sure. The hotel itself is however very outdated. The bed sheets had literally holes in them, and the bed was very hard. The room is also quite small, and our door had trouble opening up, so we had to ask multiple times for someone to assist on it. Moreover, the walls are super thin, so we could hear anyone just moving past our doors, and also the neighbours in the room next to us...

"Extremely well maintained. The two brothers were very helpful with all the tips about Istanbul. The property is at the best possible location. You can pretty much walk to most places. Public transport is 5 min walk. Breakfast is wonderful. We did not use the room cleaning everyday, but when we used it, it was better than any 5 star hotel we stayed. The terrace is wonderful with a peaceful moment of solitude, with views of bosphorus. Highly highly recommended."

"Overall it was good value for the location with a hot tub in the room which had a sea view on the fourth floor. It was by the lift but we didn’t once have any noise from it over 5 nights. The aircon was efficient and quiet. The king size mattress was big enough for my height of 1.9m but the duvet was a bit narrow. Just had to sleep closer to my wife. :-) It was relatively quiet at night and the first call to prayer wasn’t as loud as during the day, which was good. Hotel is only a few hundred...

"We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A huge highlight was the adorable cats outside they greeted us every single time we returned! Location-wise, it’s super convenient and close to everything. The early Turkish breakfast wasn't quite our cup of tea, but it was okay. Overall, an excellent experience!"

"We stayed at the Arven Hotel for four nights. It is in a good location, within walking distance of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The room was clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing, as well as with arranging the airport transfers. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in Istanbul"

"Nice little hotel in old town with 5-10 min of walking from the main sightseeings of Istanbul - Sultanahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc. It's my second stay at this place. I was here 3 years ago. The same staff, I feel like I came back to my old friends. Really well maintained hotel, clean. I have never had any issues with plumbing, ACs etc. Unfortunately, they don't serve breackfast from 2026, but there are plenty of restaurants around."
