"Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....

"A unique place to stay in the heart of Lisbon’s Castelo de São Jorge. The Tejo Room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Kitchenette was well-equipped and useful. The place was clean, cozy and quiet. Conveniently located, it is close to sightseeing, shopping and dining. We have enjoyed a lunch in Restaurant Guerreiro next door to the inn, and breakfast in Ludo’s within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We took taxi from the airport to Castle Inn. "We stayed for only one night before our flight back. The appartment was not clean enough at our arrival (stains on the kitchen counter and sand in our bed sheets for example). The air conditioning in the two bedrooms weren't working. The windows weren't soundproof enough. Prior to our arrival, I contacted them via Expedia to confirm we had a baby crib, but they never responded. I would not recommend this place. For that price, it's not worth it."

"Check in for the apartment was at The Lisbon Wine Hotel next door. We were able to leave our luggage until we could gain access as we had arrived early. Staff at the hotel (both reception and bar staff) were really friendly and helpful and we were even offered a complimentary check-in wine/beer which was a lovely touch.
