Second, the television did not offer access to CNN, which I consider a basic amenity—especially given the rate we were paying. "My fifth stay at The Peninsula Paris, I love everything about it. The building, the warmth of the rooms, the quality of the food, and especially the friendly and helpful service of the staff. The gym is spacious and modern. My partner loved the spa treatments. For my birthday we arrived at the room after dinner to find they had decorated the bathroom with candles and rose petals and had drawn a bath topped with rose petals. Spectacular!"
