"My stay at Mandalay Bay had a few challenges, overall a good experience.
Trip started with a 2-hour flight delay, and I was unable to reach the hotel by phone to let them know I would be arriving close to the midnight check-in deadline. When I finally arrived, the check-in line was extremely long, and the self-service kiosk didn't process my card correctly. Fortunately, I reached the front desk, the representative was friendly, professional, and quickly resolved the issue. Checked in within about 15 minutes. The room clean and comfortable, carpeting was a little dated, but for the price point, it met my expectations. Since I arrived around 1:00A, I was disappointed that none of the restaurants were open, even though it's a casino resort. The convenience store was open, which was helpful, although a bottle of water, cranberry juice, and a bag of chips came to $23. It's Vegas, so I expected to pay a premium.
I requested a small refrigerator due to the one in the room is reserved for minibar items. They delivered a tabletop which was perfectly fine. It was large enough for a few bottles of water or about six cans of soda. The pool area is beautiful, very well maintained, and one of the highlights of the property. Every staff member I interacted with in person was friendly, attentive, and helpful. The only consistent issue was reaching someone by phone wait times were long, but the but the hotel was incredibly busy. Overall, I enjoyed my stay & I would definitely stay here again"
