"View from our Oceanfront suite was Spectacular.Our Butler Jose did an outstanding job getting us medications we were short of due to Westjets delays and cartel problems.He made.many arrangements for us and found us some Canadian Club whiskey.The pools were excellent and the staff were always attentive.We enjoyed the Asian and French restaurants(food was excellent) Oceana restaurant was not open during our stay due to drop in occupancy because of Cartel troubles."

"Several return travelers we met here had one word to describe it: consistent. The resort is consistently high-quality, the staff are friendly, the food delicious, and the rooms clean. Our experience was the same. Our family of 4 stayed comfortably in 1 room and enjoyed watching for whales from our ocean-view room. When we'd go to breakfast, Felipe knew our kids wanted his special chocolate milk with cinnamon. He also served at the cevicheria, which we ate at every single lunch because the menu was so good and the view of the water was mesmerizing. We set up for the day in the sand under the palm trees and relaxed while staff attended to us. The beach in front of the hotel has soft sand, and the water was clear and a beautiful blue-green. The waves were perfect for bodysurfing! We did not use the spa or gym, but we did get the Club access, which we highly recommend for adults. It gave access to a private rooftop deck bar with top-notch drinks, another rooftop pool and bar with the only hot tubs on the property, and a Mediterranean restaurant. What drew us here in the first place was its design; they've refreshed rooms and added features that make the place look and feel special. It is a smaller resort than ones we've been to in other locations, with one large pool. It had a small playset for little kids, and we saw a kids' club room. The only thing I wished for was that my teens had a hangout spot to meet friends. "

"Grounds beautiful but pools were cold. Staff very friendly. Good location. The only thing was the room was very dark and had no balcony. It was on the ground with only a window , not even a sliding door. It felt very clastiphobic . The so called kitchen was a coffee maker and microwave on a microwave cabinet. When I asked to be moved they said no other rooms available. Which I found hard to believe since it wasn’t very busy. So if you are thinking of this place call to be sure what you are getting. It was disappointing to end our trip staying here for this reason. Not what we were expecting. "

"Overall, the resort it’s in good location with good service and good entertainment, separate pools for adults and children. Food is ok and more Mexican dishes than American. They gave us wrong room for 3 nights which was disappointing, when we complained they moved us to room we paid for it. "
