"Family that runs it is fantastic! Rooms are clean and comfortable with a view worth it alone! Quiet and the landscaping is beautiful! The restaurant is a must, I run a beef ranch and the ribeye was definitely one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten! Will recommend and will be staying here again!"

"Beautiful property and wonderful staff . Loved our stay here ! Location was perfect as were the cabins, hot pools…our breakfast was great . Watching all the birds in the trees at breakfast each morning was a highlight . The farm was so fun . We were lucky enough to be there when a new little calf was born. Loved the calm and quiet atmosphere here after our very active days . Can’t say enough about how courteous the staff are too .. was such a pleasure to be there . "

"Super happy with our stay here. The room was maybe the cleanest I’ve seen in CR, with a great view of the pools and volcano. Staff went above and beyond at every interaction, especially Deyber at the front desk. Cancelled some of our excursions to relax more at the Thermal spa. Wish the steam room had been actually steaming, as it was more so just a warm room. Everything else was just fantastic, including poolside meals and the Lava Restaurant. "

"Staff was super nice. The hotel is a walking distance from restaurants, grocery stores, the center of town is just 10 minutes walk. My room was cleaned every day. The place is very beautiful. I don't like that there was not WiFi in the rooms. And the breakfast was the same everyday. Beside that everything was good."

"The hotel was nice and clean the restaurant was delicious and had a good breakfast. The pools were clean and well maintained. We stayed in a basic room my suggestion would be for them to add towel racks or hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom once you are done using them."

"A wonderful hotel. Basic and clean room. Lots of hot water in shower. Fabulous breakfast buffet by the pool, watching the birds. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful setting with many types of flowers and birds. Different places to sit and relax. Great location, close to the centre of town, which is great for travellers without cars Excellent value for the money!"
