I fell in love with the sweet housekeeping staff on the 7th floor who treated my simple morning request for extra coffee as if it came from royalty. I’ll never forget the moment when these six smiling ladies formed a semi-circle around me, all making sure that I had everything I needed. A truly unexpected Kyoto memory…"

"The rooms were small compared to “American expectations” but they had everything. They made well use of every inch. I appreciated the toilet being detached from the shower, it made things quicker for me. The breakfast was delicious, a lot of choices. I wish the coffee was hotter, but that’s just my personal preference. The washer and dryer were handy. The 100 Yen coin for use was a bit challenging because I had to collect them for day to be able to use them? Again, that’s just me. The whole area is busy and nice."
