"Wonderful homestay in peaceful setting We booked two bamboo huts at Cast Away for our family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality from Panit and his parents was very special. You can see that the family really care about their guests. Three home cooked meals were provided as part of the (inexpensive) room rate, and the food was simply outstanding! So much delicious Thai food! We felt very welcome. We wish we stayed longer, and next time we will. It was fun to hire cycles and explore...

"The breakfast was great. It’s pricey to buy on site (400 baht) so maybe book beforehand. The customer service was great. The room was clean and comfortable. There’s a convenient hotel shuttle to the nearby sky train station which I appreciated. "

"Location of hotel is great. It is near the Sala Daeng BTS station which is convenient if you are coming in from the main Airport BKK. The room was excellent. Im not sure if all rooms were set up this way, but you overlook the entire hotel lobby area where they have the magnificent lounge staircase area. I didnt get to use the amenities as my stay was for only two nights for business purpose. Overall, I was satisfied with this place and their hospitality."

"The facilities were absolutely wonderful including the suite we stayed in, the pool area, the quietness of the lifts and corridors. The staff were so helpful in all things we asked of them from housekeeping to concierge to all other general staff. The breakfasts were amazing with such a variety of food and help from staff. We would highly recommend this hotel also for its location in a very busy tourist area with access to transport and local food and shopping and attractions."

"Rooms show a little age. Staff is friendlier here than anywhere I’ve ever traveled. This was our second year in a row, staying 3 weeks each time. No free breakfast is one of the only downfalls. Asked for a king bed and got 2 full sized pushed together. It worked just a little inconvenient. Overall good enough if you’re alone, a couple or an entire family. Budget friendly, 2 pools, great view of the Bangkok skyline, close to shopping. Located right next to a canal boat stop for inexpensive travel into and out of the heart of the city. Would highly recommend for those who can look past some cosmetic imperfections and some outdated furniture. "
