"This is an excellent hotel where we would gladly stay again. The location is ideal, just minutes walking from Kyoto station, the hub of travel, restaurant dining and shopping. The hotel is run superbly, with exceedingly clean rooms and access to a broad range of toiletries easily accessed in the lobby. Breakfast was ideal: A buffet with high-quality options of both Japanese and western styles. The staff kept the area well-stocked and spotlessly clean. We travelled to 5 countries over 4 months and this was one of our best stays."

"We loved this hotel! The staff were friendly, amenities were great, and it is fairly close to the train stations. They also provide luggage transportation services. I was unable to use the onsite onsen due to having too many tattoos, but my husband got to experience it and he loved it! The onsen was super relaxing and spacious. We 100% recommend staying here!"

"This is my favorite hotel to stay at, the location and staff are amazing. The only thing that was a little negative was the slight wear and tear of the tables in the room and the floor area around the toilet is a little stained. Other than that, I love the size of the room we have, it’s huge for by Japanese standard. Slept comfortably and would 100% stay again because of how convenient it is being next to Kyoto Station"

"Horrible allergies at this hotel. Air is dense and made me sick. Definitely moisture problems but may also have mold or something. I left 2 nights early and checked in at a different hotel I couldn’t stand it anymore. My eyes and face were red and swollen."
