"When I take the night train to Trang I always stay at Thumrin because it is big enough to always have a room available for early check-in. Decor and furnishings a little long in the tooth but who cares at this price. Corner rooms have nice view but all the windows can challenge the air-con."

"Hotel public are and room was clean and nice. Air conditioner in one of the rooms we had was poor and noisy in the other it was ok. Biggest downside was the noice from the roads next to the hotel. "It's a good hotel. Very basic, but still comfortable, and the hotel does well with the things that really matter, like good Aircon, hot water shower, and a good mattress. The location, just across from the train station, is convenient for trains (obviously :-) and the weekend train market. There are several good restaurants nearby. Parking is limited, but seemed adequate for the number of guests. The staff is super nice. Cheers."
