"Great"

"The property was close to the beach. The staff were wonderful. The room was clean. The pool was amazing. The breakfast selection was excellent. We were disappointed that the menu for the all-inclusive was very limited for drinks and food. The food that was on the all-inclusive was good. The gym was ok. One bike was broken and the other, the digital display was not working. The elliptical was functional but you could not change any settings as you could not override the Error-7 code. The treadmills seemed to work fine. They said they would send maintenance but nothing changed by the time we left. Overall, a very nice experience and the proximity to the beach and shopping was excellent."

"The hotel was beautiful, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and I especially enjoyed being able to order a fresh omelet or have eggs cooked to order. The property itself was very clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that the rooms felt a bit outdated, and the bathrooms and showers could benefit from some remodeling."

"The hotel was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, food and drinks were very reasonable and there was a lovely buffet breakfast an available. We stayed in a delux pool view room which was clean and spacious. We are planning to return next year."

"Great views good location room was large loved the private upper balcony. Big drawback all other guests smoked weed the whole time. Hard to sit on balcony with constant weed smoke filtering over."

"We had an incredible stay at Marin Hotel Kamala and couldn't recommend it more. The amenities are fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight—truly versatile with options to suit every palette. Pro Tip on Rooms: We highly recommend booking a Pool View Room over the pool access/walk-out rooms. It felt like a much better setup for privacy and overall vibe. The location is unbeatable. It’s a very short walk to the beach and about a 10-15 minute stroll to the main strip, where you’ll find plenty of accessible shops and great places to eat. There are also several inexpensive laundry options right nearby, which was super convenient. Of all the beaches we visited during our trip, Kamala Beach was easily our favorite. The sand is lovely, and the vendors are incredibly friendly without being pushy. It’s the perfect balance of lively and relaxing. We will definitely be back!"
