"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"
"The house was great and in perfect condition.
Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

"Lovely Japanese style hotel with friendly and attentive staff.
We enjoyed the complimentary Japanese breakfasts daily that were delivered to our room at a time we chose.
Rooms were immaculate and cleaning done daily with fresh towels.
Enjoyed looking at the koi fish and beautiful views of the pagoda from the rooftop garden.
Very convenient to train station and restaurants.
Highly recommend! "
"This was a great spot to be near all the local site seeing spots. It’s near the main rail lines and walking distance to one of the best burger joints (Dragon Burger) I’ve experienced in all of Japan. My only critique was finding hair in the beds and extra futons we used to watch movies in the beautiful lofted area. Other than that, the owners were great at communicating and the property was awesome!"
"The place is a nice old style japanese house, clean, wide spaces compared with usual hotel rooms.
It has a funny smell inside, and it needs to let the air conditioning kept all day on during summer."
"Very nice, exceeded our expectations. The wooden bath tub with the garden view is great. Maybe some more plants/ greenery in the garden would make it even better. Thank you "

"Property is nice and close to many attractions. There is also transportation (JR line) close by. Lots of food options and small shops. Close to Starbucks. Aquarium and railway museum just around the corner. 7-11 is just right beside hotel. Currency exchange machine at 7-11 as well. "
"A great affordable hotel that has Japanese style room setup and communal baths. Really close to train station and convenient to restaurants and shopping malls. Great experience to stay in the hotel. "
