"This place is about 1hour and 45min from SJO and it was the perfect trip for a few days to visit nearby Parrita and Jaco. We wanted a quiet romantic bitoque hotel and it’s exactly what we got. We walked to the beach (about 10-15 min walk) and then relaxed by the pool. The property views were amazing! The room was clean and comfortable. "

"When you leave the hotel for dinner, which you would probably want to do since the restaurant is terrible, be sure to return before 9 PM or else you will be locked out of the property behind a large gate. "

"This was not a great experience. The breakfast was good but the rooms were very old and the WiFi did not work our whole trip. The shower and bathroom were kind of gross as well. The hot tub did not work at all during the entire length of our trip. "

"Beautiful little gem up in the mountains with a beautiful view. Near a wonderful stretch of beaches but a long rough gravel road so be prepared if you plan to venture out. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed with a cocktail. WiFi was solid, breakfast was delicious. We only stayed one night but the pool looked beautiful and inviting. Very lovely spot and quiet and relaxing. Service was impeccable. "

"Great property right on the beach. Close to shops, sodas, activities. The on site restaurant and tiki bar served delicious food and drinks. We stayed in a two bedroom condo and we had so much room and storage. In suite washer and dryer was a bonus. Beautiful large balcony."

"The pool was deeper than most pools in the area instead of 3 foot it was between 4 and 5 foot. The rooms were excellent. Called late for gate trouble, I recommend arriving first time in daylight to see how gates open for parking. But they answered right away and assisted us! They were so nice, got an extra blanket delivered the same night as well and they were so nice. There is zero view of the beach but the beach is only 5 minutes walking to be on jaco beach itself. Got a tour company right...

"The staff members were all super friendly and the location was great. The room had everything you could possibly need including 2 A/C units, a stove, a dish washer, and a washer/dryer. I even had a HUGE iguana visit the balcony. So cool! I would definitely stay here again. "

"Such a cool place. We stayed most of a week, and since there are limited number of rooms, there aren’t many other guests, so it felt like our own little private resort. Our room opened right out to the pool and restaurant. Iguanas were hanging out, a toucan visited us on a tree near the restaurant. We really found a hidden gem. "

"Nothing about this stay was acceptable. If I could give less than one star, I would. 1. No hot water in the unit. 2. Kitchen was infested with ants and effectively unusable, forcing us to eat out. 3. Curtain rail in the bedroom was held together with duct tape and eventually fell down onto my children. 4.Beds were misrepresented in the listing. It advertised one King and two Queens; in reality, it was one Queen and two Double beds. 5. Only two towels were provided for four people....
