"Food was good a lot of options. Some staff were very kind especially the sun club lounge but others seemed like they didn't want to talk to me or me asking for help was an issue for them. The buffet has good food but if you are trying to go for breakfast make sure you go early otherwise there will be a big line, same as dinner. "I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Kontiki. The grounds were breathtaking and I had an overall great time. Cleaning was hit and miss for me nd I don't think my floor was mopped and it showed. My toilet also wasn't the cleanest. That was my only concern. The front office staff was very hospitable. I would return but would stay in a suite."

"The rooms are small! Hotel is extremely overpriced. The mattress is thin, pillows small and the cover was really thin. There is no mirror and the ceiling leaks when AC is on. The balcony is a joke. Pool area closes at 6pm. The employees at the restaurant pool area are rude and standoffish. They only cater to those who look like them. I am confused as to how this hotel has so many good reviews. The only good thing about this hotel is the area. Shaniya who works at the front desk was really nice...

"Room was clean but a bit run down. The shower handle popped off a few times. The drainage was slow. Handle missing off a drawer. I was only here 2 days out of my stay I chose it because of the walkable location. The staff were absolutely the best. So helpful and friendly. They have a great team of people working here "

"I had an enjoyable stay at the Boho Bohemian located in Pietermaai. Very friendly staff. I was given a room with a balcony. The hotel is managed by the same folks who own the much larger Hotel Kloster located two short blocks away. There is no on-site front desk staff at the Boho, so you must either call or walk to the Kloster for requests. Some of the room technology was not working -wifi, television - at the Boho, so I had to make calls, Zoom meetings and use my computer in the meeting...
