Top Jamaica Hotel Reviews

S Hotel Kingston
6/10 Okay
"The staff were very friendly and helpful but the building itself was a bit outdated. Good value for money for overall. The use of decorative pillows and throws is a detractor also as these are not often cleaned after each stay."

ROK Hotel Kingston, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

"Friendly and clean"

Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Staff is friendly. Rooms are just as described from the pictures. Our room which was ocean view in building 6 had a nice view but you still had palm trees blocking but it was still ok. They have a good variety of food to choose from. Regular drinks are ok but taste watered down. Overall everything was great and would definitely come back."

Princess Grand Jamaica Resort - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Exceptional Service & High-Energy Vibes
Rating: 4.5/5
I recently stayed at the Princess Grand Jamaica for a celebratory father-son getaway. The "heart" of this resort is the staff—98% of them are absolutely incredible, and the check-in process at 3 PM on 4/23 was the smoothest I’ve ever had.
Staff Standouts:
• Gabereanna went above and beyond by cleaning the grill specifically to make me a vegetarian quesadilla.
• Odain, Rashelle, and Vanessa (Jamaican restaurant) provided top-tier service.
• Rockayla & Crystal (Food Market) and Nicola (Smoothies) made every morning a delight.
• Renardo, Lamont, and the host at the Mexican restaurant were impeccable.
• The Concierge and the Security team near room 6109 were professional and warm.
Entertainment:
The energy here is electric! Huge shout-out to Donald, Naomi, Kiki, and the dance team. The Broadway musicals, multicultural shows, and the fire-filled White Party were world-class. We also appreciated the thoughtful fruit spread and wine sent to our room.
Room for Improvement:
• Pricing: The gift shop and spa are very high-priced ($70 for sunglasses and aloe).
• Amenities: As an Expedia VIP, I didn't see much benefit (no room upgrade or spa discounts).
• Beach: The man-made beach is very rocky and shallow—more like a kiddy pool.
• Privacy: The room was nice, but the shower is quite exposed.
Despite the beach and pricing, I’d definitely return for the food, vibe, and phenomenal people."

CocoLaPalm Seaside Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Great location right on 7 mile beach with delicious breakfast and great lunch and dinner menu. Spacious hot tub and pool. Amole parking. Amazing amenities for the price. Great value, highly recommended!"

Hotel Riu Reggae - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We spent most of our time at the poolside Margarita bar. Delroy, Rodgeroy, and Samanda were incredible bartenders! This pool was quiet and chill, and we met a lot of great people! We did not spend any time at the other pool, where all the activities were going on, so I can't say anything about all that.
Honestly, we weren't *as* impressed with the buffet staff - some were ok, but quite a few just weren't happy or friendly, ever. Food at the buffet was good, with a good variety. The jerk chicken at the chicken hut was delicious - beware of the spicy sauce!
We had dinner at the Italian restaurant one night, on my birthday, actually, and they surprised me by singing to me and bringing out a cake! The staff there were super friendly. The food, eh, it was good.
My only complaint is there are no umbrellas by the loungers on the beach. Poolside loungers tend to fill up fast, so one day I grabbed the closest beach lounger to the pool. By midday, I was needing out of the pool and into some shade, but none of the beach loungers had umbrellas. That made for a really hot day, for me at least.
They were offering free rides across the street into the shopping center, so we took advantage rather than walking. Do this is you want to get off property and do some souvenir shopping!
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reggae!"

Toby's Resort

"Every thing ok except no coffee maker in room just a kettle which u threw your coffee pod into and get all the coffee grounds in your cup!"
