Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto
Staff were very professional and helpful. Best service we have received in Japan. Proximity to the shrine was excellent. The keiseki dinner was fabulous.

It was a wide traditional tadami room. The wash stand is too short for us (I am 174 cm tall and my wife is 166 cm tall). Miyajima Seaside Hotel
Very traditional Ryokan experience, with the Tatami floors and Kaiseki meals. Staff is very attentive. This is not a traditional "luxury resort" (don't expect service and standards of a four seasons or ritz carlton hotel).
