Handy to Taksim Square, clean and comfortable

We had a very comfortable stay at Taximist. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an afternoon nap before catching a late night flight which was possible thanks to good curtains and soundproofing. The buffet breakfast is excellent.

The hotel is well located, unfortunately there were some issues for me regarding general cleaning. In the room not that many issues other than the fact that every time I'd use a towel (hand or body) I would find thick long hair (none of us has long hair). But the true issue for me was the breakfast and breakfast room: - The floor was sticky (dirty) - The chairs were sticky (dirty) - The smell in general was of wet cloth that you leave for days, that stinkness was everywhere. - The food was unremarkable, nothing fresh, nothing good, the juice was as warm as it gets (bag juice that should be kept fresh) - The room really claustrophobic Overall I don't recomment the hotel.

To start with, the staff and their support were excellent. However, things start falling apart when it comes to the maintenance and the overall cleanliness of the property. Breakfast is provided, but it's in the basement in a very small room and is congested. If not for the staff, I feel I wouldn't have given it 4 stars at all!
