"Taxi required for those with luggage"

"The hotel was very close to all the tourist attractions a few minutes walk to the blue mosque, the staff were excellent, well spoken compared to other hotels that we stayed in the past. The room we stayed in needed a bit of maintenance, but other than that, very nice hotel, especially the ninth floor where the restaurant is. you’ve got a great view"

"Very accommodating and great communication before, during, and after my stay. Awesome breakfast (Turkish /;Eastern European style)."

"The location of this hotel is superb, central to all main attractions, shops and tram. The hotel itself is pristine, rooms cleaned every day to a very high standard. The biggest asset is the staff who are all friendly, professional and extremely helpful and attentive. A special mention to Ozan, the concierge, who went above and beyond to make our staff a memorable and enjoyable experience."

"Tiniest room, no room to walk around. You open the door then there a small bathroom and a bed, no space to open your suitcase. Besides that, the room is clean and functional. Water pressure is good, mattress is good. There’s only one pillow per person so we asked for extra pillows. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. They make the stay a good stay. "

"Paint peeling from walls, not much room and small bathroom, too hot, bad smell. Very kind workers, very helpful staff."

"Great location, hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. It was easy to get to the attractions from the hotel and the area had a lot of shops and restaurants. Nice and quiet at night. We arrived very late and the gentleman at the front desk was so kind. He called a restaurant to see if they were still open and could accommodate us. Provided us with umbrellas because it was raining. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are visiting Istanbul."

"Great location we could walk everywhere and had a lovely stay on the 2nd floor. Super helpful staff 😊"

"Great staff and location, but rooftop was closed and rooms need update. The primary reason we chose the Sultanhan Hotel was for its rooftop and location, so disappointed that rooftop was closed for repairs for the entire duration of our stay. Right in the heart of Sultanahmet and within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and local tram stations. The staff are nice; they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Housekeeping was also great, cleaning...

"The room was clean. The staff, except for the cleaning lady, couldn’t have been less helpful or interested in us, to the point where even a good morning was beyond them."
