I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us). "The location is fab and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are big and clean and well furbished with everything you need from hairdryer to dishwasher and washing machine. The breakfast though was most disappointing (small selection of - apart from the fruit - only sweet and sugared items). I recommend going to one of the little cafes nearby where you get more for your money."

"Beautiful hotel with small but perfectly formed rooms. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the castle which was tiny but lovely. The bar area is fantastic and the Whisky Bar was our downfall (thanks to Dario who is an expert!) Will definitely return"

"The Tiger Lilly was fun, and lively. The staff was helpful in all areas: food, and guest services. The Saturday boozy brunch had a DJ with a great vibe. Even with music you couldn’t hear in your room. Room was clean quiet, dark with sleep in curtains, AC worked well. Room very comfortable"

"Place was gorgeous, modern, convenient, clean. Though listed as for 4 people, it was a bit awkward for 4 people: bathroom en suite to one room, so those on beds (pull-outs) in front room had to walk through the other room to the bathroom. And because light switches for bathroom are outside, anyone sleeping gets light in their eyes until the door is closed. And using the kitchenette was disturbing to those sleeping in front room. Would have liked a full size coffee maker as the nespresso...
