Hotel Rialto

"There's an under used terrace with views of the Rialto, above the crowd. This place is historic. The walls aren't wallpapered, they are covered in fabric. It feels outdated but also nostalgic. Our AC was leaking but they fixed it. Breakfast is nothing special, we preferred to go out to get cicchetti and coffee, but it was convenient on days that we needed to catch up on energy. Location is perfect, so central to everything and you get to enjoy the canal and the bridge without having to go to it."

"Very well located, quiet and clean. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about but a quick nibble before you head out is always helpful. Bring a water bottle for wandering. They won't let you fill it at breakfast but there are fountains around the city. Water is a MUST!"

"The hotel is somewhat dated, Rooms are sizeable but not that modern if I’m honest, the bathroom is very dated. Breakfast is also quite limited and all buffet. Location is nice we choose to be further out from central Venice. it’s about a 5 minute walk from a vaporetto stop which pretty much has all the water taxi’s you will need to go to the destinations you will need it for. Hotel is located in Cannaregio which has its own shops, restaurants etc… and is outside of the main parts of Venice as mentioned which was nice as it can be busy. It’s about a 20 min walk to Central Venice shops and 5/10 mins walk to the parade of shops in Cannaregio. All in all the hotel is nice, staff friendly and if your not looking to stay within central Venice it’s definitely the best hotel to stay at given the look at some of the other hotels we passed on our travels."

"Eurostars Residenza Cannaregio is a wonderfully well-looked-after 4-star hotel that truly lives up to its rating. The location is super convenient—just a 15-minute walk from the train station, close to a water bus stop, and complete with its own private water taxi dock. We stayed in a two-floor, two-double-bed room overlooking the canal, which was spacious, modern, clean, and kept wonderfully cool by the efficient air conditioning. The breakfast was very enjoyable each morning, and the staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. We couldn’t rate this hotel highly enough—it truly helped make our Venice stay so special!"

"Expedia's listing presents a waterfront view in all photos, even when selecting basic rooms. This is false advertising. Hotel charges $77 euros for waterfront view. No where in Expedia's listing does is say that for a waterfront view, hotel charges a $77 supplement. So hotel gets blamed, when in fact its Expedia's add that is misleading."
