"We had a really lovely stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Railay was laid back and fun to explore. Right next to the walking street which was super convenient. Our suite had great air conditioning, and the pool was beautiful to swim in. There were lots of animals around, from monkeys to monitor lizards to friendly resort cats. Breakfast was delicious every day with many options to choose from, we especially liked the egg station! Would stay here again."

"Our family of 4 came in May 2026, 2 girls age 6 and 9. The hotel was nice and the pool and excellent proximity to the beach was great! Our girls enjoyed the balcony pool. Nice restaurant (we only really ate one restaurant few minutes from the hotel on the beach called somewhere else was yummy, very affordable and also great view of the beach). We’d definitely stay at Lanta Sand again. "

"If I could give this place 6/5 stars I would. We absolutely loved everything about it. The staff were so helpful, we had all our laundry done for about £13, a scooter booked for us that was delivered straight to the hotel. They handled everything and so quickly. We stayed in one of the lagoon rooms and we are so pleased we chose it, it was so spacious, the room was spotless, the spa bath was lovely on a stormy evening - you could have told me that we were the first ever guests and I would have believed you as it all looked brand new. The lunchtime food was super tasty and we loved happy hour watching the sunset. "

"It was worth the price. Nice location, easy to walk to the beaches and the boats. But, it smells from the sea when it’s low tide. This is during dinner and breakfast, and it really smells bad. It wasn’t too much to choose from at the breakfast, and the breads was quite dry. Ended up eating yoghurt and fruit. The room was not noice cancelled well enough, so heard the neighbors from time to time. Monkeys are walking freely here, so watch your stuff. And they are climbing to the top floor. The pool area is nice, with the pool bar, and the rooms are OK. Worth the price, because of the location and the special nature, but nothing more than this."

"The staff were very helpful and nothing was a problem with them. I had an issue with the shower, I informed reception and within 5 minutes the maintenance were there and fixed the shower straight away. There is a free courtesy bus which took me to Ao nang, and picked me up later in the day. The coffee machine delivers free coffee and it is delicious. The hotel itself is an older one, but well maintained and I really liked it. I particularly liked the swimming pool, which had plenty of sun loungers. There's a 7-11 almost next door, and some very good restaurants nearby. The bed was firmer than I liked, but I still had a good sleep. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room nice and cool. The black out curtains were full length and kept out any form of lighting of a night. There's a decent sized balcony which could have done with a couple of chairs and a small table, for the morning coffee. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and I have would definitely recommend it to anyone."
