The villas were just lovely and very comfortable. The resort does a nice job of keeping the beach pristine and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. Our only complaint was the food wasn't very good, esp. given the high price compared to anywhere else in Thailand. But there are closeby local options (when open) that are easy enough to get to.

Pathetic stay

We reached Krabi at 2 and then we had a sunset cruise booked and due to rains we got late. We reached the villas at 9 and by the time their kitchen was shut and they had no option of any kind of food. We had paid 52,000 INR for the villa but they cared a damn for it. We were so so hungry but had to go eat at a local restaurant. That’s a different thing that food was outstanding and we enjoyed so much. The villa staff was so rude and they did not care. All they kept saying was that we came late. A lady from the villa literally fought with me on the call. While we were on the boat to the villa she emailed us informing that the kitchen will shut down and with no network we couldn’t check the email. She was calling me for every single thing but for this she sent an email knowing we were on the boat. We literally just slept in the villa and left the next day. For a huge amount like that, they could’ve at least been polite and concerned for our dinner. Terrible experience all in all.

Incredible beyond expectation

The best during my Thailand trip and I hope I could come again soon! Excellent privacy and rare community feeling in a luxury hotel. If you ordered a private boat trip the boat will pick you up just in front of your villa- it’s really a gorgeous experience. Nice communication with yoga teacher, manger and local people thanks you all!

Nous avons aimé notre villa qui était tout simplement magnifique. Tout est fait ppur que vous vous sentier dans un havre de paix. Le restaurant de l'hôtel en bord de mer offre une très belle vue. Chaque jour il propose un menu à la carte different. Et c'est vraiment très bon.

amazing boutique property hidden away in a lush tropical garden. colonial charm directly on a sandy beach overlooking the Phi Phi islands. helpful and attentive staff arranged our transfer from Krabi airport that was seamless. rent scooters to ride around the island. and take the long tail boat trip to the amazing Phi Phi islands. beautiful sunsets. great food and all amenities that you may need during your stay including mosquito repellant spray and flash light for your night beach walks. overall amazing and relaxing stay. will be back.

Tranquil haven with private owned bungalows

From the airport pick up til the warm fare well, everything was super well organised by Mandy and her crew. We stayed in the 8pers bungalow with the private pool and had a great time. there are 3 separate buildings, two of them have a queen sized bed and bathrooms and the other has 2 rooms with a queen and a shared bathroom. The pic shows the very spacious living-kitchen area. In the middle of these 4 buildings there's the pool. We took part in the cooking course with the chef from the restaurant, great fun! The snorkeling trip we had organised via the resort was good for beginners, not spectacular. The diving trip organised outside the resort was so-so. All-in-all I actually do not want to recommend this place so we can keep this one all to our selfs...;)

Surpasses the Deserved Hype

Koh Jum Beach Villas is the premier property on the island. Our beach front villa was delightful, built with authentic hardwoods and other Thail materials by skilled trades and master craftsmen. The bed was as comfortable and clean as you would find in a true five-star hotel in an world capital. The cuisine was very good, reflecting local culinary traditions as well as European and North American tastes. If your looking to splurge on a high end place that is off-grid and (so far at least) without package tour hassles and irritations, Koh Jum Villa cannot be beat. The Koh Jum Villa organized transport from/to the Krabi airport by private cab and long-tail boat worked seamlessly -- we arrived at our destination in an hour as promised.

Great Service and Staff at Low Key Lux Villas

Had an outstanding stay at Koh Jum Beach Villa. This is a luxury property right on the beach. Staff and management are outstanding and so incredibly friendly, professional and attentive. Food was great as was bar. Couple things to know: Koh Jum is a small and quiet island. There are things to do -- cheap motor bike rental on site to explore the island was great, can take excursions to other islands which we also did, scuba outfit on site, but mainly a lot of relaxing and long walks on beach. Also know that the Villas have no air conditioning. First night was kind of hot but we got used to it and placed the fans a bit better thereafter. This is an eco-friendly resort so there are bugs and mosquitos. But if you can get past that this was an exceptional place and resort. We miss it already and particularly miss the phenomenal staff.

Secluded barefoot luxury

We stayed here for four nights at the start of our honeymoon. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. We stayed in Baan Viva, which is on the beach and currently the last villa on the left end of the property, so it was very private. The food at the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. Although it was warm during the day, the fans provided were more than sufficient to keep us cool. The staff also provided complementary turndown service nightly which ensured the mosquito netting was in place before dusk. While staying on the island we went on a snorkel trip, multi island tour, and indulged in several massages at the spa. Koh Jum is much more secluded and quiet than many of the other islands in the area, which we preferred. Overall, we could not have asked for better start to our trip.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Crew ist extrem nett und geht auf spezifische Wünsche ein. Sehr gute Küche. Perfekt zum Entspannen in einem sehr hübsch gestalteten Dschungel-Garten.

Very pleasant quite vacation and the best hotel we have been so far! Highly recommended. If anything to complain, that would be lack of air conditioner: really hard to sleep in such a heat. There is a fan though, so we managed to adapt after few nights.

Heaven on Earth!

We stayed at Koh Jum Beach Villas from July 30th to August 6th and liked it so much we returned for another 2 nights on August 10. This is low season so occupancy was low and some nights there were no more than 2-3 villas occupied. As a result, we were spoilt with all the attention we got from the staff! We were welcomed warmly right from the moment we arrived and found the property absolutely breath-taking. The property and the villas are absolutely beautiul, the staff is friendly and professional and go over and above to make guests happy, and the amenities are luxurious but not over-the-top. The best part was that there were no large and loud groups unlike the larger islands. Koh Jum is rather quiet with few activities for tourists looking for a busy day and this is a boutique property with a limited number of villas. But if you’re looking for a quiet haven to unwind, this is it!
