"The rooms are great - a good size, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Our room was also quiet. The gym is very small and the treadmill didn’t work. The pool area is lovely but needs someone to tend to it to keep it tidy when people leave and to replenish towels. A couple of staff were friendly but, overall, staff could do more to be welcoming and appear to actually care about whether you are enjoying your stay. The location isn’t ideal for the beach. Despite being over the road, there is no crossing so you have to cross two two/three lane busy carriage ways."

"We recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin and, overall, had a very enjoyable holiday. We have visited Hua Hin many times over the years, and one of the reasons we continue to return is because of the genuine warmth and hospitality of the Thai people. They are consistently welcoming, friendly and professional, which is why some aspects of the service at the hotel stood out in comparison. We have also stayed at hotels such as the Centara Grand on several occasions, as well as the Regent in Cha-am, and have always found the service at those properties to be exceptionally consistent. Firstly, the hotel itself was beautiful. The grounds were stunning, immaculately maintained and exactly what we would expect from a five-star resort. Several departments also provided outstanding service throughout our stay. The breakfast team, gym staff, housekeeping, the lifeguards (especially Ter and the other young gentleman) and the Guardforce security team were all friendly, attentive and a real credit to the hotel. One particular incident highlighted the exceptional care provided by the lifeguards. Lewis cut his foot on the waterslide, and Ter and his team responded immediately. They administered first aid, thoroughly cleaned and dressed the wound, and continued to check on him over the following days.
