"Clean room-some of the furniture looked a little worn mind you with scuffs and “ dings”-did not deter from the overall comfort of the room which included a cozy gas fireplace. Great views from the little balcony access and an inviting deep soaker tub with well designed separate shower. The wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the salmon dinner that we enjoyed was delicious. Just the kind of relaxing getaway that we needed."

"Great staff and very clean facilities. The only downside was the uncomfortable pillows (worst ones I've ever had actually) - they were very hard and thick, and I just slept with my head directly on the mattress instead. It would be good if the hostel considered changing them out in the future."

"Lovely old house. Clean, quiet, room. Glad I chose one with an ensuite bathroom as it meant I was on the top floor. Perfect location. Walk to inner harbor and downtown shops or to Dallas road for ocean views and lovely fresh air. Nice, safe, neighborhood. Friendly, helpful, staff. Breakfast was good, especially the fresh fruit and home baking, but more healthy options would be nice. I had a lovely stay and will return."
