It is good for us as we rent car from airport. From airport to hotel takes about 45 mins depends on traffic. My 4 kids enjoyed the serene environment and gym. It will be better if there's a 7eleven outside the hotel.😆

Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa in Songkhla is a new, impeccably clean hotel with modern facilities. The friendly and attentive staff ensure a welcoming stay. However, the shower water temperature can be inconsistent, and the location is not very convenient for accessing main attractions. Despite these minor issues, it’s a good choice for a clean and friendly stay in Songkhla.

Great location in Songkhla

This was my second stay in this hotel. it's a very good location for my interest and the facilities are very good. the restaurant has a good variety of dishes, and the bar is decent. The overall service and friendliness of the staff are great! clean ample rooms and good beds.

Excellent Hotel.

The hotel was perfect except the wifi didn’t always work maybe to many people using it at one time, when booking one of the best rooms (suite) in the hotel you would think the hotel would make sure the wifi worked %100 of the time. also having a car would be good,a bit far from anywhere.

Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa Songkhla is aging badly as it was poorly built, with uneven surfaces that might cause you trip and suites that have limited access to natural light. The staff is uneven - mostly great but when it's not (particularly on the front desk), its terrible, The only mean we have eaten at the property is breakfast, and its disappointing.

Best hotel in Thailand

Easily, the beast hotel in Thailand. Everything was six star. 2 small and weird problems - stunning pool with attached gym etc - yet there are only TWO sun loungers around the entire pool! Everyone else had to sit in hard wooden upright chairs. No relaxing here. Were all the sun loungers stolen???? 2nd - we asked Reception to call a taxi for us to go into the main town. They wouldn't - they just suggested we download a rideshare app! Which proved so hard with an Australian phone etc.

The staff was very kind and professional. There was so much that stood out as excellent. check in was fast. I was surprised at a few simple points for all the big amazing presentation. Smart eco choice for halls with no air con. No hand soap in bathroom, was told had to “ask” for it. I would assume cleanliness after using facilities would be essential. Asked for staff to assist with air con 4 times, we were only there overnight but no one ever came. Bed was very comfy. Pillows perfect, 2 per person. I’m a medium size woman “8” and the robes were both too small for me, but nice touch (again considering no hand soap but useless robes). Loved the sliding bathroom door. Large mirrors. View was gorgeous overlooking water (river/lagoon?). The food at Riva was beautiful, not very tasty, I mean naturally. Only had dinner there. Tried several dishes. Stir fried rice was bland. Not much natural flavor of the food. Somewhat bland on flavor, muscles were tough. Shrimp rolls were different, only ground shrimp, no vegetables in the mix, but nice light crispy roll. One (1) scallop in a scallop dish, the pappardelle sauce was amazing though. Tried the pizza, it was interesting, nice crispy crust but cold when brought out, cheese is not tasty cold. Breakfast was great. Lots of tasty freshly prepared options. The pool was super refreshing. The workout room was more than adequate and beautiful view. Overall we would stay again for sure. Probably just eat somewhere else.
