"We had a lovely three night stay. The view from our hotel room was spectacular. The room we extremely spacious and the AC worked well. We loved the sound of the rain on the roof at night. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids and we had several meals at the restaurant that were good. We appreciated that this hotel was away from the busy part of La Fortuna but would recommend this for guests with a vehicle due to the location. "

"There was an issue the first night. Electrical issues forced us to transfer to another local, unaffiliated property...which was not at the level of comfort and amenities we expected or had paid for. That said, the hotel went out of its way to correct the issue, first by upgrading our rooms, then reaching a mutually agreeable price correction. All in all, a great stay! Thank you Reynaldo and the entire Tifakara team!"

"Overall, a great property with a great experience for families, but the front desk staff are not trained to handle a large volume of tourists so plan accordingly. I would suggest a minimum of 3 nights for good experience of the resort. "

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Campo Verde. Everything was very close. Restaurants and attractions. Having the option for breakfast was perfect for us too (it was delicious) The room was clean and cozy. Reception was very helpful with suggestions. Wish we could have enjoyed the hike but weather was not on our side. More reasons to come back and visit Hotel Campo Verde again! "

"This is a beautiful property with impeccable service and amazing views of the volcano. Our family suite was very large with an instagram worthy view of the volcano from our balcony. The grounds are beautiful- the trees, flowers, water features, just gorgeous. A good sized pool and several hot springs are part of the property. The breakfast buffet was great- lots of choice with polished service. This is definitely one of the more beautiful upscale properties in La Fortuna. We had several tours...

"Such a beautiful place. Our room was outstanding with an outdoor shower and jacuzzi. We could sit on the porch for hours and watch nature. The trail was amazing. The hotel is on a very steep property but carts were readily available to assist. All staff were amazing, pool and pool bar very nice. Good breakfast. "

The room is clean and spacious, but some noise over the roof, maybe some small animals there. The garden is amazing with beautiful views, a lot of tropical plants. "
