"The property and experience were unforgettable. It all started with the most hospitable and helpful host, Emel. He made us feel welcome and even helped us get pizza delivery to the glamping tent. The tent is immaculate and the perfect window to the amazing greens and blues that mark the gorgeous horizon. The bathrooms and showers were flawless and kept you integrated with nature. I will remember this place forever and ever!"

"The property was great but what is absolutely incredible is Guillermo, the property manager. I have never in my life met someone so genuine and ready to help with every single thing, big or small. Not only did he help with the menial tasks of rebooting the wireless router but he also drove and waited for me at the emergency room when an injury needed attention. A true life angel. Guillermo and Villas Macadamia will forever hold a dear place in my heart. 11 on a scale of 10. "

"We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things."

"Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! "

"The accommodations were clean and modern. We wished that we had a closet in the rooms to hang our clothing, but overall it was very nice. Check in and communication with the host was difficult. "The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We loved staying at Los Lagos Spa and Resort. We stayed there with 3 children (13,6,3). They loved the pools - especially the thermal pools. The resort is large so there is a shuttle to bring you to breakfast, the pool, the front desk. They are very fast once you call to request the shuttle.
