"A very quaint and memorable visit. Hotel was charming, restaurant was wonderful, staff were exceptional. Located in the heart of Bishop Waltham, all the shops were exceptional and everyone we met in town were so very friendly. We had such a wonderful stay."

"We chose this hotel/pub as it was close to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, I think most people staying were there for the same thing. We were not too sure what to expect as their communication has been awful, I emailed several times over the last few months and had no response at all. "Very welcoming with helpful and friendly staff. Good and varied dinner menu and a good choice selection of cooked or light breakfast. Location is out of the way down narrow lanes but the pretty village setting is both quiet and peaceful."

"Very friendly staff who were very approachable."

"Staff were helpful and efficient on arrival. Shown to my room which was clean, warm and had all I needed. Only issue was the tv on the wall was rather small. Car parks were available fairly close by."

"L’ambiance du pub, accueillant."

"The room was great. There is a breakfast room downstairs which is open all of the time to get coffee and tea etc. We were leaving on a Sunday morning around 8am before breakfast started, but the staff were really helpful and put some food out ready for us (cereal and milk was already out anyway). The pub is lovely next door"

"Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions"

"Good rooms and showers. The food we ordered"

"The room was comfortable and clean. With the heat wave going on, it was great to have air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is very close to the town centre and local transportation. The staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. I would stay at this hotel again."

"I couldn't make one single negative comment about this place, it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the hosts were warm and welcoming, the breakfasts were first rate and the pool was a great bonus. The views in every direction were stunning."
