"The hotel was renovating some rooms which meant there was deafening noise throughout the day and started as early as 8am. Actually quite ludicrous they kept the hotel open or at the very least didn’t sell rooms in the most affected areas. Staff beyond unresponsive when raised with them and very rude. A bit of a surreal experience to feel like you were staying in a building site but this was considered somehow acceptable.
