"All was great. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Great location, with Nishiki Market, countless restaurants, and grocery nearby. The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.

"This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. "
"The hotel is located in Gion, the Geisha district. It is located very close to important landmark and temples. I loved the rooms and specially the bathroom. "
"This property was outstanding. We loved absolutely everything about our stay. Our favourite part was having access to the onsen each day. Definitely made our experience unique and luxe. "
"Our stay in Kyoto at the Resi Stay was wonderful. We were able to send some of our luggage ahead, and it was waiting for us at the check-in counter across the street from the train station, which is where you check in. We stayed in 1F and it was huge and very quiet, and it had laundry. We loved exploring Kyoto from this location, as it's so close to a very cute part. We only wish we made a better plan for seeing the rest of Kyoto. It's big and spread out. "
"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a convenient location to shopping and public transportation. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay again. "
"We loved this hotel. It was easy to access various areas of Kyoto with trains/metro/buses all on our doorstep. It was also walking distance to Gion. The staff were wonderful and let us check in super early. The rooms were comfortable and stylish and the cocktails in the bar were lovely. The Nest had tea and coffee whenever you needed it, which was fab. The hotel was beautiful and welcoming after a hot day of sightseeing. Would stay again if in Kyoto."
"Perfect location in Gion, easy walking distance to convenient bus stops and subway stops, as well as many restaurants/shops. The Shirakawa river was so relaxing to watch. From our room, we could see cranes, turtles and large fish! Excellent decor with art and beautiful lighting, incredibly spacious (3 stories, all with full bath) with nice amenities (coffee/tea, pajamas/robe, umbrellas, laundry!, rooftop deck) and all rooms/floors had separate lockable entry code. I had only minor quibbles...
