"Save your money.The location isn’t worth it.1 pull out mattress was so filthy that it was nearly all yellow.The second pull out had put a twin size ‘jail cot’ on a full frame.I’m usually pretty forgiving,but this was the stay from hell.AC didn’t work in the suite. Mgmt was terrible.Didn’t care.Said all of us could use one room or not have AC.We had 2 families. We slept with babies in the truck because it was so hot.Told us they had no fans either. The tv was removed from the bedroom. The first person we spoke with said it must have been stolen. Found out later mgmt took it for another room and didn’t replace it. When we asked they told us we only need one tv! It’s a suite with a bedroom!!!! Half clean rooms. Stains. Holes. Old, stale ‘breakfast’.Rude DESK staff with the exception of the first night. She felt so bad about the mgmt response she let us borrow her PERSONAL fan from her room to at least keep the rest of us semi-cool until morning. They moved us for the second night to a regular double king. Tub didn’t work, plus TERRIBLE water pressure. Cherry on top, we only booked for the indoor pool.Closed!This was a staple as the LeConte, the new owners are horrible and I wouldn’t stay again if it was free. I did send a complaint to Wyndham as well as I don’t think they would like their name attached to such a $£!¥ hole. In the end, after everything, owner said she would give us $50,take it or leave it. Most staff won’t stay long either. HK & maint mgrs were both amazing!"

"Always be aware photos of any place you are considering could be as old as when the property was established. Or maybe even AI enhanced. Quality Inns have been a staple my entire life and Im nearly 50, so I may have choose this place on nostalgia and the pics of the Inn nestled in between the mountain and creekbed were very appealing. Check-Inn was smooth and easy, the attendant told us elevator location by the coke machines and we were on 1st floor. When approached elevator and vending, both were tagged inoperable. It was then I thought that was probably why nightly rates were fair because we would have to tote our things up the stairs but then we spotted another coke machine and elevator which did function. We stepped off and our room was in front of us, door jammed, it was found to be off the bottom hinge. We didn't report until the am at checkout and ironically ours wasn't the only door reported to be off the hinge that morning. Posted all over the property were dont feed bear signs, the morning of checkout heading towards stairwell there sat a big black bear blocking the stairwell, so I did an about face and promptly proceeded to the elevator for lobby. Then I decided that maybe it had been the bear who forced door off hinge because it had been done from outside. I have a thrill of a story by lodging here but overall the property was negleted. And the elevator to Hillside Inn did not have emergency stairs, shady biz. <100$ dont expect anything fancy, just mo"

"Gatlinburg Inn was such a wonderful place to stay. The Staff was even better. Its a special place . ITs a Great Place to stay. The only problems we had was not Related at all to the Inn. But to the state of gatlinburg is turning into. There was massive crowds. They block entrances and dont want to move. The crowds and streets and places to eat are fill with people Drunk. And the smell of drugs is everywhere. All over the mall at our time of stay. The bars near the inn was very loud some nights. Yelling screaming reving cars blowing horns. These woke us 3 or 4 times. Very late. Its very sad to see what the city of Gatlinburg is turning into. The streets was not family friendly .Thanks to everyone at the Inn done so well and their hard work. Was sad to hear Bunny Retired. The people there do a amazing job. And work very hard."

"The best thing about this hotel is it's location if you are visiting the convention center. The WiFi didn't work, although the staff informed me that other guests were having no problem with it. It would connect for a few seconds, but then would drop me and never come back. The lobby felt dirty and had very few amenities. with only a coffee supply. There was only a view of the wall of the convention center from the balcony. There was no "Do not Disturb" tag for the room. Coffee supply for the room was replaced only after leaving notes for the staff to do so. For me, the convenient location next door to the convention center made up for the shortcomings, but I would not select this hotel for general touring of Gatlinburg."
