Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Overall it was a comfortable stay. Near to the train station and ita walkable to both Tenjin and Hakata area. The room size is very generous for Japan standard. The only thing i dislike is the lobby scent, its really funky, almost like sewage to me.
I was bit worried about the cleaness after reading the reviews but my room was tidy and clean and there were good quality of disposable slippers so my foot didn't get dirty. There's a long spacious table and a comfortable chair which were great bonus.
Room is small with no wardroibe but has bathtub and is clean. Breakfast spread is decent. Convenient location - nearby train station, bus stop and walkable distance to large mall (Canal City). Market is right outside hotel entrance. Parking in hotel requires reservation (limited spots - operated via car lift by hotel staff) but may be cheaper to park nearby overnight if short walking distance is acceptable.
The hotel room is value for money. The bed is comfortable. But the cleaning service has to be improved as the cleaner didn’t picked up the rubbish on the floor.
A very new and well furnished hotel. The room is pretty large compared to other typical hotels in Japan. They even offer a smart TV which enable to access to YouTube or Netflix - much appreciated! The downside is the need of 20-min walk to Tenjin or 9-min ride on bus to Hakata station which basically transport is needed to get to city centre.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The living room and bed are comfortable, but trash bin is very small and the auto lighting is annoying
We enjoyed our stay at Cross Life Hakata. The hotel was clean and safe. The property was well maintained and we were close to bus stops and about a five minute walk to the subway terminal. Staff were very friendly and the hotel has coin laundry on site and easy to access. The room we had was a quadruple bunk room and although we all had beds, the room itself was very small with limited storage for suitcases. However, we knew this when we booked so it wasn't a surprise. We did notice that the trash cans in the room were very small and it made it difficult for us to get our trash removed during our stay. Trash must be in the trash can for it to be removed but most of what we had didn't fit. I went to the front desk and asked for an additional trash bag so it wasn't a huge problem. There is breakfast available on site but it was a little more than we wanted to spend for our family. There was limited food options around the hotel which was a challenge for us. We spent most meals at convenience stores which was not ideal but worked. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for families, especially families who need to do laundry during their stay in Fukuoka.
