Back to APA hotel chain after almost 10 years, and I still love it for its excellent facilities, cleanliness, complete room amenities, and smooth check-in/out process. My experience with the onsen and laundry facilities was exceptionally good.

Great stay in Fukuoka

Great stay sento was a serious plus the fact you can see how crowded it is on the tv info screen is a game changer. Rooms a bit tight but the location next to station makes it all good

The hotel is close to hakata station in walkable distance. The room is clean and have all the room amenity needed. Tho the room is a bit small, which is common for hotels in Japan, it still value for the money and recommendable.

It was the first time to stay at Apa hotel because i couldn't make reservations for the hotel that I always stay in Fukuoka. So I had a good chance to enjoy different hotel experience with my husband and a nephew. They liked the motsunabe breakfast.But I think the breakfast is too expensive to me who don't like animal smells from the morning.

Chose this hotel as it is located about 10 mins from Hakata station and there are plenty of restaurants in the surroundings. It was busy at check in time and there was a queue a check in time which is a self check in. Room was clean and a bit small but as expected.

Hotel is near Hakata Station. Hotel was SQUEEZED into a very small space, so all of the space is very small. We just came from APA Niigata it was MUCH better and more space. This one the laundry machines are only 2 inside the men's bath!!! Atrium of the hotel is open to the outside weather sooooooooooo hot and humid in the hallways and elevators. Only 16 lockers in the men's bath, but the TV shows only 1/3 full when the bath is packed with men. My view of APA has collapsed after this visit.

Room is tiny little, almost can’t even fit our luggages. Room cleaning is done only once every three nights. It is very clean and provides all basics though.

The hotel is located maybe 5 minutes to Hakata station, it is near to a bunch of another hotels, so there is no nature or a nice view from the room to be expected. Moreover, the room, though quite tiny, was super clean and the reception staff was very friendly. I recommend this APA, because it was a good price compared to the features.

Great stay!

This was a comfortable stay and the breakfast was ok but as one not familiar with Japanese breakfast it was a bit annoying that some less Japanese options were not restocked when they ran out. Still it was an appreciated benefit. The bed was suitably comfortable as compared to some other Japanese beds. While the room was small it was a very functional room. Also it is about 5 min walk from Hakata station and this is very useful. Self check in seemed odd since there were still many staff.

This was a solid 3 star hotel. Check in was through a computer terminal which took awhile. Concierge services was not present. We tried to have them get a taxi and was told we needed to do this on our own. Get the GO app. This hotel was 5-10 min walk from Hakata Station. There were 2 other APA hotels closer. This hotel was clean and comfortable. Five of us traveled and each had our own room which suited our purposes and it was economical. Room service is every 2 days but towels were provided daily. Overall decent hotel to stay.

The location was good being close to the Hakata station. I did not like the electronic checkin and the Hotel was not allowed to call taxis. The room was very small and my bathroom smelt bad of a shower curtain not changed. Other than that it was just ok.

Is very close to Hakata station, the lobby/area is pretty and the public bath facilities are quite nice. The main problems we had were with check-in - the passport scanners do not work properly so it took longer than usual and was kind of frustrating. Also the room's air conditioning is weak, it took quite a while to get my room cool (in a hot summer). Service was good overall though and the staff was great.

For a business size room it was way overpriced. Similar hotel chains like Route Inn have an onsen bath and free breakfast included for a lot less. Hotel was convenient to the train station and only two stops to Fukuoka Airport.
