A short walk from Hakata train station, so convenient if travelling by train. Clean room and friendly staff. Only stayed 1 night as a stopover but very happy with the room. Typically good and just what you expect from an APA hotel in Japan.

The staff was overly polite and spoke fluent English. The check in process was easy. The hotel is about 7 minutes walking distance from the Hakata train station which is also the best place to get food. From the train station you have access to 2 different subway systems (one in front, the other inside the station). The bed was comfortable as expected and the bathroom was clean and had good water pressure.

I like this hotel because part of the building is an open area meaning I can breathe fresh air as soon as I step out of the elevator. It is quite unique and refreshing as this is the 1st hotel I have experienced to have such kind of design. They also provided 2 sets of towels and amenities even though I am a solo traveller. I will definitely put APA first on my list next time I travel to Japan.

Hotel was good but didn't have a great experience with customer service. We asked the front desk if they could help us call a bike rental service to place a reservation but they instantly shot us down and said no. Not very helpful. Breakfast was also mediocre but sufficient. Room and hotel was clean and beds were comfy thankfully.

I checked in with Rika, who was great! She switched my room so that I was on the top floor. All of the staff were friendly. I like the APA hotels. I stayed at 1 in Osaka too for 2 nights. The only downside was all the dust in my room, so I had trouble breathing and was sneezing. Needs vacuuming. May have been coming from the overhead vent too. But a relaxing stay and in a good location.

Located a distance away from Hakata station, it take close to 20 minutes to reach, take note if lugging around luggage. It is about 15 minutes walk to Canal City and the Naka river where the Yatai stores can mostly be found in the evening. That said, the shower ventilation has a thick layer of dust and due to the way the hotel is designed there will always be a cold draft felt when you exit the room toilet. It is cheap, so if you are a backbacking around it is not a bad choice.

Around a 10 min walk from hakata station, I found this place very easily accessible and convenient. There are convenient stores nearby as well. Stay was pretty comfortable, and it feels safe as the lifts could only be operated by the room key card. For days where you don't want room make up services, staff would hang a bag in front of your room door consisting of stuff like towels. Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in fukuoka! The only things I didn't like that much were: 1) asked staff at lobby for water, but they said that they didn't have any and that there's only the ice machine. honestly I was wondering why the bottled waters are not replenished in the bag as well? Had to go and buy water. 2) every 3 days or so, the staff would make up your room. This is mandatory for hygiene reasons, which I understand, but I don't really like people entering my hotel room when I'm staying there. Do take note if you are sensitive to this as well.
