We had a lovely time at this B&B in Florence. We were a family of three (parents and teen) and enjoyed our stay in a triple room at this well-located property. The property owners were very kind, shared lots of local tips and suggestions on food, excursions etc. and accommodated all of our needs. The breakfast was abundant and delicious.

What an absolute delight it was to stay at this property. The breakfasts every morning were so lovely and the hospitality of the owner, Barbara was incredible. The place was a few blocks away from the academia, minutes away from the duomo, and 20 minutes away from Ponte Vecchio. Restaurants, galore everywhere you looked, and it was very quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle. Perfect location!

Barbara was fantastic. She was very helpful in obtaining our train reservations for Salerno. We enjoy the outdoors and each morning the breakfast server made sure we had a tablecloth for our table. I had left some shirts in the armoire and they saw them and added them to our luggage before we left. Thank you for making our stay so easy and memorable. Until Next Time

This property is quite dated and lacking amenities of newer properties charging similar fees. We asked for a ground level room next to the “garden”, which is what we got, but the garden was not well maintained or usable. The bed in our room was very old and not comfortable. The staff were knowledgeable, very nice and offered good advice on dining optiins.

This porperty was excellent. The lady on the desk was very friendly and was very helpful giving us directions to on what to see and things to do in flourence and throughout the region. She is multilingual and her english was good. The breakfast was very good and lady also baked a lovley chocolate cake for my daugher to try, as she had asked if there was anything she would like for breakfast. The room was spacious and there was a conecting room for my daughter to sleep in which she really liked. The room had AC which stayed at temperature which was great after a day in the sun. The parking is 3min walk away and 5min drive away. I would happily stay here agian and will recommend to anyone coming to flourence.

Barbara is the consummate host. She's been running this place for years and it shows; it's like you are visiting a friend when you stay here. She can help you with all the answers to any kind of question you might have. We stayed in the Family unit. This is a larger unit than most in Barbara's complex and very comfortable. You're a stone's throw from all the sites here but also well situated for grabbing a morning coffee and croissant with the locals; at a very reasonable cost. The complex has a very nice small garden area in the middle which is comfortable for sitting and enjoying a read or glass of wine. The breakfast is out of this world. Barbara's baking skills are top-notch. In addition to more than enough pastry, there are plenty of other high-quality elements to the breakfast. Some notes; our particular unit did have windows but they opened onto the street so no view. Many of the other units that Barbara has open onto the garden in the middle of the building. We'd definitely stay with Barbara again.

Central Florence

This was a very central location yet carved out a quiet serene spot with lovely room and breakfast. The only disappointment was the shower which had poor pressure. Great bed.

Barbara was a great host. Very helpful. The property is beautiful, quaint and cozy. It felt like a very authentic. The only issues with my room were the shower not having hot running water very long and the air conditioning not workin too well.

Excellent hotel, exactly what we were looking for. The location was perfect for exploring all of Florence attractions and being able to come back to the hotel easily on foot. Barbara running the place was fantastic from the moment we arrived, taking a real interest to get to know you and make sure she offered advise and hep with everything, even though we were only staying for 1 night. Parking is arranged at one of the nearby underground parking lots with the hotel having preferential rate and priority at the car park which is only a couple of streets away from the hotel. The room was very clean. Not massive but we did not expect it to be a massive room for this location and price but it was perfect for what we needed while looking around Florence. Even has a view of the Duomo from our bedroom window. Barbara really made the stay extra special and made us feel very welcome and we would certainly stay at this hotel again when we return to Florence
