"We stayed at the Villa Medici for 3 days and had an amazing time. The hotel is centrally located in Florence and convenient to the train station (10 min walk). Its also a historic property - I believe it was once a monastery and has been lovingly restored. It has everything you need including a pool and great restaurant. It also has an amazing staff who are extremely helpful and courteous. Also, the breakfast buffet was amazing - especially when traveling with 4 kids who appreciated being...

The staff was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, when we arrived, our bags were received and we were welcomed to go to the cafe/Bar and enjoy a Cappucino and Tea.and Croissants, restaurant reservations were on our behalf, 5 stars all the way, it is important to note the hotel is very well located, just 200 meters from the train station, and very close to Santa Maria Novella Piazza! The front desk staff provided a map of things to see and kindly explained the best places to visit, as well as calling Ubers for our family.
