"Second time staying here. Everything was great. Decor is lovely giving great atmosphere. Breakfast is extensive even with the less expensive continental option. Staff are well trained and helpful. Easy walk through the park to Didsbury village and the tram station. Room isn’t air conditioned but fan provided was sufficient."

Not so keen on swimming pool been were everyone can look in and the room was very dated and warm, the fan hardly worked and we had a disabled room as there wasn’t anything separate the toilet and shower so water went all over the toilet. It’s was one night so we just got on with it.. but food and staff were excellent."

Our room had a bed, a slim desk with an office chair, and two small side tables, along with five hangers on a long metal bar and three small hooks for clothing. "The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "For the price and location for my specific need the hotel was good. The bed comfy, room clean and a nice touch with the in room welcome pack of amenities and biscuits. The only concern was a young child (the receptionists child) randomly walking in my hotel room (room 2) to use my toilet and walk out again). I laugh it off now, but was concerning at the time."

"After finally being allocated a room, the room was stiflingly hot as this was the hottest May on record, and the in room AC did not work. As such we had to open the window later that evening when the outside temperature had dropped low enough, but were then unable to get any sleep as the hotel backs on to a railway station, and we had to listen to trains arriving and departing probably every 10 mins or so until about midnight. We were leaving the hotel at 3:30am and so had not sleep at all."

"Fantastic hotel with parking, coffee shop and tram stop on the door step. Staff were great, very helpful. Room was very clean and spacious. Overall it was excellent and would highly recommend for someone looking to explore Manchester."
