"The staff at the hotel deserve all the credit they are friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to make your stay better! Only downside to this hotel is the road in and out as it’s fairly awkward if cars are coming the other way, otherwise would 100% stay again facilities and rooms are great"

"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. "
