"Very comfortable cottage for our family stay, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were really cosy, lovely and clean everywhere. The village is gorgeous and the cottage is right at the centre of it, lots of options for food too. "

"The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive."

"This is a wonderfully quirky and unique place to stay. The accommodation is just perfect. Hosts Steve and Elaine have created a tranquil and idyllic tiny retreat at Robin Hood Tower. Comms were great and Steve showed us around, sharing local history and top tips for our trip. Canal side walks were glorious. A magical stay."

"NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed.
The shower hose and drain need attention. The drain gets plugged immediately.
The bed is the absolute WORST bed I have ever slept on. I bet the mattress is several decades old. You feel...

"The appartment was not clean, an heavy smell of sewer. Many places in the apartment was really dirty: bathroom curtain, oven and fridge was destroyed. There were dirty bed sheet in a wardrobe entrance. The wifi password was not given to us and after our arrival we had no answer at all from the property. Hopefully we have booked only one night. I do not recommend this place."

"The house was located right in the centre of the village and is a great base for all the local hiking routes. It's a small village so has one Italian restaurant and 2-3 pubs that serve food and they get a bit crowded. The Horse and jockey do amazing BBQ ribs and a wonderful ox cheek lasagne. The food was excellent. The house has a lovely courtyard which we used on all the days we were there and most things are provided for you....even a welcome pack and a box of cakes. Which was a lovely...
