"Lovely stay. Helpful and polite staff. Good food excellent choice. Breakfast amazing. They even give you a packed lunch everyday. Room cosy and clean..will return."

"Complimentary breakfast. Late bar"

"We stayed in a four poster bedroom in late October 26. The hotel is a fascinating place (in a good way). Steeped in history but extremely well maintained. The bedroom was superb, luxurious and super clean with a very comfortable bed. We had both evening meal and breakfast at the hotel. Both were exceptional and decent value too. The staff were all professional, polite and friendly. Only minor gripe is the parking. The hotel parking itself is small and tight. Plus you will need to be there...

"Breakfast was very good, much better than other Champneys hotels we have stayed at. Room was nice but the TV unfortunately kept cutting out. Really friendly and helpful staff, and a luxury feel."

"Excellent gym. Brilliant helpful gym staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfy spacious room."

"The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!"

"Pet friendly stay for One night . Clean and comfortable. Didnt have dinner, breakfast very nice , lovely lady serving. Fresh milk delivered first thing in the morning a nice touch. Charge of £25 PER NIGHT for a pet I believe is excessive. £20 per stay seems the average these days . So I suppose £25 per stay would be acceptable for the quality of establishment. NOT £25 per night though !"

"Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel - fabulous food. Exceptionally clean room, lovely bar, excellent food. Definitely will be returning."

"Perfect in every way."

"Very disappointing. Room was cold and tv not working. Left voicemail for contact twice but received no response. Had to put spare duvet on top of bed. The fact that this spare duvet was in the wardrobe perhaps indicates that the lack of heat is a continuing problem. Internet was intermittent and difficult to get. Towels very hard - suggest you take your own."

"Kind friendly and hospital hosts Great suggestions for walking in beautiful countryside"

"The hotel and room was extremely clean , the staff were lovely and it is very dog friendly"

"Wonderful 2 night stay for a walking weekend, exceptional customer service and superb food."
