"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. "The room itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful. The hotel itself is getting dated and in need of a bit of refurbishment. One major issue, no restaurant. No food available at all, no evening meal, no breakfast, even though breakfast was available when I booked. It could be so much more, set in lovely grounds, quite a nice building, but suffering from a lack of attention to decoration. "
