So very thoughtful. We had the opportunity to speak to both Peter and Nicola and they were genuinely interested in us having a great time, which we did. "Had a lovely overnight stay in mid February 2026. Lovely family run hotel, gorgeous scenery, delicious food and wonderful warm staff made for the most delightful stay. Staff very welcoming to children. Great gluten free and vegetarian meal choices at the restaurant along with a good priced children’s menu. Our family room had a very generous queen sized bed (? may have been king sized) and a sofa bed. Well priced for Valentines weekend. Would definitely stay again"

"Grande chambre avec vue sur le lac. Proximité directe du ferry qui permet de traverser le lac (gratuit pour les piétons). Pas de service de restauration lors de notre séjour, mais de quoi petit-déjeuner dans le réfrigérateur (2 muffins, 2 yaourt, jus d'orange + lait) ce qui est très appréciable."

"What a great little place! It's perfect if you need a home-base and want to tour around the area. It's simple but lovely and well maintained. So clean! Alan, one of the owners is very knowledgeable and not just about the area! He has geology knowledge upon food recommendations upon hiking/walking/climbing trails. We got a lovely reception as soon as we arrived. It isn't fancy but the atmosphere and service are 5 star. "

"When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at."
