Ardtona exceeded all of our expectations! The space was immaculate, comfortable, and set in a breathtaking location. Karen is a stellar host—so friendly, communicative, and attentive to every detail. Her hospitality truly elevated our trip. If you’re looking for a perfect stay in Scotland, look no further. We will definitely be back!

Very welcoming hostess. The breakfast is an absolute necessity- a very well thought out meal and you could tell there was an immense amount of pride taken in putting it together. Would love to stay again.

This was a VERY nice place to stay. I only wish I had more than a single night. The view is beautiful, the room was cozy and well equipped, the shower was amazing, and there was even a shark hair dryer. We also bought the breakfast and the choices were amazing and the food was very tasty and the service amazing.

The view of the room was perfect, also very clean. Time feels kind of tight since check out is at 10:00 and we felt rushed (no specific comments from the host, just a feeling). If what you are looking for is a quick b&b, this is a perfect option. Also a little bit expensive for the area and type of stay. (Almost 500 pounds for this stay)

Everything was meticulously prepared and the greatest care was taken to make us feel comfortable and pampered. It is clear that the innkeeper puts the utmost love and thought into each and every detail, the bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities provided were top notch. Highly recommend a stay here and I wish we could have extended our stay beyond the one night we had here. Breakfast was delicious and we had many options. The view of the loch was breathtaking and within five minutes of arriving we saw a deer on the property. Can’t say enough wonderful things. Stay here! You will love it.

The room decor was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extra as with other additions, we felt there was style over substance. Parking was outside the building. The views were beautiful and overall the visit was relaxing. However, felt that there was a push for upgrades and extras after the booking was made.

Good communication before arrival to ascertain our arrival time so that someone was there to welcome us. Parking was easy and the annex / lodge we were given was an upgrade which was welcome. Breakfast was spot on with local fresh ingredients

A pleasant property, though not quite the experience we expected The inn is a lovely, well-presented property and it is clear that considerable care has gone into maintaining high standards. However, we felt that the overall experience did not quite match our expectations of a five-star stay. The welcome was somewhat formal, and we would have appreciated a little more warmth and friendliness. There are also house rules which, while understandable, felt rather strict and perhaps took away slightly from the relaxed atmosphere one might hope for when staying at an inn. Overall, the property itself is attractive and well cared for, but for us the hospitality did not quite reach the level suggested by its five-star rating.

Ardtorna is a very well-kept, comfortable property. It's a little quirky (add on amenities include a perfume bar, and a flavoured salt bar) but it works! The rooms are a good size, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Ok, we purely stayed at the property because we felt we didn't have many choices, all the properties to stay in this region were a huge expense. So we sucked up the cost, we were met with a cash transaction to get a room upgrade, yes the view was nice. The bathroom was poorly designed with little room to place your toiletries. The spare toilet paper is hidden in a zip bag good grief! it was difficult to get out. The bathroom floor got wet due to poorly designed shower. Lots of designer touches from the owner. We paid over $350 Australian dollars to stay just 1 night then asked if we wanted breakfast another $100. The bed was uncomfortable. It was just a place we needed to rest for a road trip. This might be nice for a couples retreat.
