"Wonderful location. Made everything so easy. Our only complaint is that parking was additional cost. This didn't seem to be the case everywhere, and there was plenty of parking to be had. Honestly, I'd rather have the parking cost built into the cost of the room than feeling like I'm being nickel and dimed by having to pay extra for parking. But everything else was fantastic."

The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi. "we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

"I booked this hotel for a stay for my husband’s birthday, thinking the price would be worth the experience. I was wrong. Pre-arrival was promising from the reservations team wanting my partners name to personalise the stay and I also booked a room upgrade and some cupcakes for the room on arrival. We took our dog and to be honest I he had a better time than we did. The upgraded room 304 with balcony was very nice I must admit. With a nice view of the loch. There was a nice bed, bowls and treats...

"Paid almost £300 for one night including dog fees, and it was nowhere near worth it. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with mould around the windows, damp, cracked walls and tiles, and dirty-looking carpets. Dinner and breakfast were both overpriced and disappointing. The only saving grace was the lovely staff and the beautiful location. We only stayed because we’d driven a long way with our four-year-old. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or recommend it at this price."
