"Great location, but is a little older. Feels like staying at a Chinese hotel. The rooms are older and not as fresh as the lobby. The western restaurant in the lobby was under construction while I was there, but only the outside. I asked to sit inside to host a business meeting, but they wanted me to eat in the lobby. The Thai restaurant had better service. But lots of other options. Good street food. McDonalds for late night munchies. Hard Rock Cafe is across street for good food for meeting friends. "

"No idea how this hotel got a 9.2 rating other than how centrally located it is in the old city. First room was musty and had no windows, paid 500 baht a night on site for upgrade, the next room was better but bed was like sleeping on sheet of plywood. I prepaid 2 night but only stayed for 1. There isn’t anything truly wrong with the hotel but it wasn’t for me, for the price it is what it is. Cost me more than double to move hotels but for my personal comfort it was worth it. I felt the rating it has on Expedia isn’t accurate. I spend a lot of time in hotels, it has to be exceptional to be a 9.2. The staff were nice though and tried to Accommodate us. My friend stayed 2 more nights."

"Excellent hotel, great spot in the river. Not quite in centre of town but allows it to be a resort destination. Pool was not crowded when I was there. Breakfast buffet included. Attentive pool service. If I had 2 comments, the hot food at breakfast is not hot except made to order eggs. But a good selection. They just don’t use the food warmers properly. Also, and although I don’t mind tipping, I wasn’t made aware that tips were added to the pool bill and then I added again, my fault too many beers and didn’t notice on the bill, My tipping probably explains the great service at the pool. But those two negatives do not out weigh all the positives, the staff is so friendly, and attentive to guests needs. "

"Nice location n hotel. Staff / Spa opening time was not timely. Everything else was great! Would recommend they offer guests waiting fo checkin some cold water. "

"Room was ok. Although was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom upon arrival but it’s quite normal. Aircon needed to be cleaned, full of dust and very slow. Bed was okay, pillows too. Staff - well, the reception wasn’t very helpful and always seemed more interested in the computer than the guests. Breakfast was very poor, so we went next door and across the street but really wasn’t good anywhere. Breakfast really wasn’t available anywhere that we thought was good. "

"Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and a great breakfast. Great location and quiet considering in the middle of busy night market area. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you 🙂"
