"Upon arrival at check-in, several employees were standing at the desk and simply stared at us without offering any assistance. After finally getting checked into our room, we walked in to find it completely unacceptable. The bed was taken apart, and the mattress and box spring were leaning against the wall. The room clearly had not been prepared for guests. When I called the front desk for help, the employee was extremely rude and told me I could not stay in that room and would have to come all the way back downstairs to be assigned another room. This was incredibly inconvenient because it was my daughter’s birthday, and we only had one hour to get ready. I ended up spending most of that time moving all of our belongings back and forth between rooms instead of enjoying the occasion. To make matters worse, the pools were shut down due to a storm that was reportedly 32 miles away, despite there being no bad weather in the area at all. When I asked about it, the front desk employee provided no real explanation and displayed very poor customer service skills. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially on what was supposed to be a special day for my daughter."

"Hotel is in a great location, and the housekeeping staff was always pleasant. The front desk employee who checked us in was friendly as well. I also liked the modern vending machines, ice available on every floor, and the gift shop inside the hotel. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the property was disappointing. There were a lot of shady and loud people hanging around outside at night — loud enough to hear clearly from the 3rd floor with the windows closed. The hotel really needs better security because many unsavory characters pass through the area. The pool and hot tub were very dirty. The hot tub didn’t even work and had large cracks in the steps that looked hazardous. My kids even found a huge rusted nail inside the kiddie pool. Pool furniture was old and torn up. The room itself did not feel clean. There were stains on surfaces that looked like either chemical runoff or dirt. Curtains were missing, and the ones that were there looked old and dirty. Lamp shade were broken/dirty. Toilet had a leak. Our room also had no chair or small couch, so we always had to sit on the beds. Bath towels were extremely small — more like toddler-sized towels — and looked old and crusty. The bathroom layouts are awkward and could really benefit from pocket doors or better design. The lobby bathrooms also lacked a main door, and at one point I unfortunately walked by and saw a man using the restroom from the lobby area."

"The staff couldn’t find our reservation and it took forever to check in. The amenities all close by 10 pm making them largely unusable for travelers and Disney goers. The layout was confusing and there weren’t enough handicapped parking spots. The room was hot and barely cooled down in time to sleep. I expected a real fridge and got a mini fridge"
